Plagiarism Policy

When someone duplicates something without giving credit where credit is due or copies someone else's work with intent or knowledge, it is considered plagiarism.

Plagiarism before Publishing

Any case of plagiarism will be judged according to its parameters by the Kashere Journal of Accounting and Finance (KAJAF). If plagiarism is found in an article at any point during the process—before or after acceptance, during editing, or at the page proof stage—by an editor, reviewer, editorial board member, etc. We shall notify the author(s) of the same and request that they either revise the text or cite the sources from which it was derived. The author is told if the article is rejected if plagiarism is found in more than 25% of the work.

Originality

It is acknowledged that the material submitted by the author(s) to the journal is original, unpublished, and not currently being considered by another publication. The journal does not accept plagiarism, which includes publishing an author's own work twice in full or in part without giving due credit. Anti-plagiarism software can be used to verify the authenticity of manuscripts submitted to the journal.

Disguising thoughts, phrases, and other forms of artistic expression as one's own is plagiarism. Plagiarism is the equivalent of breaking the law on copyright. Plagiarism can take many different forms:

  • Replicating the identical content from a different source. utilizing passages from a paper or other source on purpose.
  • copying or intentionally using sentences without providing credit to the original author, or duplicating specific parts of another author's work, including equations, tables, figures, or images that are not well known.
  • utilizing identical text that was downloaded from the web.
  • Copying or downloading figures, images, illustrations or diagrams without attributing your sources.

Plagiarism Detected After Publication

if plagiarism is discovered after an article is published in Kashere Journal of Accounting and Finance, the journal will launch an initial investigation. The journal will get in touch with the author's institute and funding organizations if plagiarism is discovered. If misbehavior is found, the Scholarena journal will publish a statement pointing out the plagiarism and including a link to the original work that is bidirectionally connected online. Every page of the PDF will also bear a clear marking on the paper that contains plagiarism. A formal retraction of the paper is another option, depending on how much of it was plagiarized.
